Thunderbolt 4 interface design

In the engineering design of the Thunderbolt 4 interface, we pursue ultimate signal integrity and multi-functional integration. Its compact form based on USB-C needs to accommodate bidirectional 40Gbps ultra-high-speed channels (supporting PCIe 4.0×4, DP 1.4 and USB4 protocols) to ensure stable data throughput when connected to an external 8K display or high-speed SSD. The integrated power supply design needs to be compatible with the PD 3.1 specification, achieving a maximum of 100W bidirectional power transmission through a single cable, taking into account the power supply and charging requirements of the equipment. The multi-layer shielding structure and differential impedance control effectively suppress EMI interference, ensuring the purity of video/data signals even in complex electromagnetic environments.
